Wonderful intimate museum with a hand-pulled glass botany exhibit that will blow your mind, minerals exhibited in beautiful wood and glass display cases, a variety of dinosaur, bird and animal exhibits.
This little known museum is absolutely fantastic! Never crowded! It was always my girl's favorite, from the moment they became interested is dinosaurs, fossils, extinct animals, etc...The glass flowers and the minerals are not to be missed. Always some nice things in the gift shops.

“The Harvard Art Museum is not the size of the Museum of Fine Arts or Gardner Museum in Boston (both of which are amazing), but has a very impressive collection, is housed in a gorgeous, recently gut-renovated building, and is large enough that you undoubtedly will be unable to see the whole thing in one visit. There is also currently (through July 28) a special exhibit called The Bauhaus and Harvard that is quite good and showcases the University’s Bauhaus collection, which is the largest in the world outside of Germany.”
“Casual restaurant and bar that usually has a table open or a short wait (tough to find around here!) The food is good and relatively inexpensive, and they serve food until 1am! An 8 minute walk from us.”
“People come from ALL OVER to get these bagels, and you can bite into one after a 5 minute walk. This may be the best bagel you will ever eat. Run there, if you love bagels. ”
“Local park adjacent to harvard square and across from harvard yard. About a five minute walk.”
