“This is the coolest place to find antique, vintage, and just interesting stuff! On First Fridays, there is live music, and you can explore loads of floors of cool homemade goods, records, art, you name it!”
“In the mood for Mexican? This is a Local favorite! Located about 30 minutes away in Downtown KC. We have never eaten anything we didn’t love here! Plus Margaritas make everything better! ”
“My absolute favorite breakfast spot! worth the trip! about a 15-20 mint drive to downtown. Food is fresh, all locally sourced. Their Bloody Mary's are on point! The French toast with the pecan butter, potato bowl, sweet potato pancakes, and The Morning After, are all incredible choices here! ”
“The Ship is a really neat old ship themed bar and restaurant in the West Bottoms that makes the best frozen Irish coffee north of New Orleans! It's a really eclectic vibe and they have live music or a DJ playin oldschool soul/funk. They have good food and you run into all walks of folks and it's one if my favorite places. I have literally never had a bad or boring time there, but just watch out for the crazy potholes in the parking lot!”
