City Farmers Nursery
Adorable for shopping for plants, just looking, kids play areas and next to Nate’s garden grill!
Super fun place that boasts many animals, a beautiful garden and a wonderful restaurant. Usually, we will spend a couple of hours here in the afternoon by getting lunch at the restaurant here and then walking around the nursery to visit all of the plants and animals. Highly recommend!
They have live animals and a little playground. It is free to go in and walk around. The plants are stunning and it's quiet. The restaurant on site almost always has live music at night. Also great brunch options with beermosas and a dedicated kid area.
This nursery is a local landmark, with many goldfish ponds, a Zen bonsai garden, barnyard animals (pony, donkey, goat, chickens, turtles), kids play area, and of course all sorts of plants and flowers. They serve coffee 8 am to 2 pm Thurs-Fri-Sat-Sun. Closed Mon. Nursery hours 8 to 5.

“It can get dicey with the trolley stop there but it has everything basic with some organic options too and its cheap.”
“They have a dinner and live show performance of belly dancers on Friday and Saturday nights that families with all ages can enjoy and the food is really very good and plentiful. The entertainment is captivating but may not be appropriate for our more conservative guests. Dads seem to like it for the food/entertainment value. Reservations are a good idea.”
“Traditional Mexican dishes not found often outside of the home. A must for visitors unfamiliar with, but curious about Mexican cuisine. ”
