Take a nice stroll through the centre, then finish it off by relaxing at the University botanic garden. Admission is free for the outside part, and the greenhouse tickets are very cheap. They also have a lovely cafe, though it's a bit hidden.
“Gostilna Dela is a charming little restaurant providing LOCAL EXPERIENCE. They offer delicious breakfast and lunches, to satisfy meat, fish and vegetarian lovers. The food is FRESH, HEALTHY and prepared from an open plan kitchen. Food and drinks are prepared and served by YOUTH who have not finished formal education and young people with disabilities. They are trained to become more employable. They are located just a few steps from a Central Market and Ljubljana Castle Funicular.”
