The Hanalei pier is surrounded by the beautiful blue ocean and framed by waterfall-lined mountains. Picturesque and the subject of much art and photographs. The pier has been a gathering place for the citizens of Hanalei since it was abandoned for shipping in 1933.

I always suggest grabbing your coffee or tea and taking a quick drive down to Hanalei Pier on your first morning here - it's such an amazing way to start your trip! Then go for a morning walk on the bay - it's my fav thing to do!

Historic Hanalei Pier on the north shore a great spot to watch sunsets There are number of paces to rent kayaks and float down the river!
