Great quality fusion food, cosy atmosphere and a nice local neighbourhood vibe. Have some great themed evenings too like Curry & Quiz night and live music.

The Banyan Tree is a unique Restaurant and Bar situated on Ellesmere Street on the edge of contemporary Castlefield. We provide a perfect space to meet and relax with friends or business colleagues. Welcome! Serving Breakfast, Lunch and Evening Meal, their menu is extensive yet modest. Open 10am till Late.

Short walk under the canal and it does lovely Indian/western food. I love the Lamb burger with spicy skinny fries!! Great breakfasts. Curry and a quiz on a Monday, acoustic night Thursday.
