Ann Arbor roastery dedicated to the deep, local experience. Each cup of coffee is ground per order, meaning you're getting the freshest coffee around!
If you don't mind the 24-minute drive to Ann Arbor, RoosRoast is bar-none the best coffee around! Locally roasted. Try the Lobster Butter Love! (Not made with real lobsters) It can also be purchased at Agricole in Chelsea.
Walking distance if you are up for a morning stroll. There is also another location downtown. Matthew's favorite!
Fantastic coffee, locally roasted. Starbucks is just up the street a half mile as well, but it's worth the trek.
“The best iced mocha in town because they use Guernsey chocolate milk and fresh whip! Quick breakfast bagels with salmon & cream cheese "smears" and fun little pastries for that sweet spot. It's also a great place to plug in and work from your laptop during the day time, hold a group meeting over lunch. Oh! They also have an amazing collection of wines and imported cheeses. Live music on certain nights out back in the garden and Rice House BBQ up front if you've got a hankering for ribs. Walking distance is approximately 15 minutes. Great little gem with top notch staff. ”
“One of our two favorite donut shops in the city, plus they serve diner-style breakfast and deli sandwiches.”
Grocery or Supermarket
“This is a grocery store, but you can grab a very cost effective dinner and drink here - I believe a pint of beer is about $2 and a sandwich is about 7. #5 and #6 bus from campus will take you right out front. ”
“Best of the best! This deli has iconic status and the freshest tastes anywhere! One of our favs is Binny’s Brooklyn Reuben sandwich and the light fresh tasting Cyprus Salad. The coffee shop next door is also a favorite afternoon drop. Especially when their breakfast pastries are half off after 5pm!”
