Located in D.C.’s Ivy City neighborhood, we create balanced, great-tasting ales and lagers in a 100 percent solar-powered facility.
This brewery puts out some of my favorite beer - like their Ponzi IPA, and the brewery is powered by solar! Tours of the brewery are offered on Saturdays at noon, 2pm, and 6pm. No reservations required, but please inquire at the bar for a tour, as tours cannot be guaranteed when the bar is busiest!
100% solar-powered craft beer! This is a great spot to check out if you're in a group, plenty of room in a warehouse setting. With outdoor seating, a food truck or two outside, brewery tours, and a distillery nextdoor, theres plenty to imbibe in while on West Virginia Ave.
On Wednesdays you can bring one of our growlers and get it filled for half price.
Closest brewery is Atlas Brew Works. It's not our favorite beer but it's a fun spot to hang out! Part of the new thriving Ivy City. Art and bars popping up every where!
“The first distillery to open its doors in DC post-Prohibition aptly named its signature product after a bootlegger rarely seen without his signature green felt fedora. George Cassiday originally sold booze on the sly to Congressmen out of a House office building. But, after loose lips got him caught, he bounced over to the Senate where folks were (and still are?) better at keeping quiet. Cassiday's son lives in the area, and was the first to receive a case of gin.”
“A new addition. Great tasting room. District Made Vodka made from rye that actually tastes like something; a classic dry gin called Ivy City Gin; and unaged Rock Creek White Whiskey.”
