Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter
A great place to visit and learn about the preserves habitat. There are snowshoe tours, a learning center, climbing wall for children and much more.
Swaner Nature Preserve is a beautiful and scenic place to go for a hike, snowshoe, or winter walk with incredible panoramic views from the plain. The terrain is in a flat plain with a paved walking/biking trail so it’s also accessible for beginners or those who want something not overly strenuous.
Swaner Preserve offers interesting exhibits, outdoor excursions, and cool kid events.
The Swaner Preserve is a huge swath of land set aside for the creatures who called this place home first. Stop by the viewing deck in Newpark (Kimball Junction) for a bird's eye view of this gorgeous landscape.
"... a nature preserve in Snyderville Basin. Swaner encompasses a 1,200-acre wildlife refuge, a 10,000-sq ft environmental education facility, a 100-acre farm, & 10 miles of trails."
“Utah’s liquor laws require anything above 5% alcohol content (e.g., liquor, wine, and some beer) to be sold in a state liquor store. There are two convenient locations in Park City, and this is one of them! Anything below 5% alcohol content can be found elsewhere — grocery stores, etc.”
“Need a car during your stay? Enterprise is located in the Yarrow Hotel a very short drive down the road and is accessible via the FREE shuttle.”
