关于这个地方
Pendennis Castle, Falmouth, is one of the finest of the mighty fortresses built by Henry VIII to defend the country against invasion. The castle has seen action in many conflicts and was one of the last royalist strongholds to fall during the English Civil War.

Henry VIII built Pendennis Castle in 1540 to defend against a French invasion. It is free to walk around the outside of the castle and entry costs up to £10.90 for an adult, £6.50 for a child or £28.30 for a family (2 adults and up to 3 children). Well worth a visit.

“It’s just a 15 min drive to Trebah which is a ‘sub-tropical paradise with a stunning coastal backdrop’. There is a café at the top next to the entrance and an ice cream shed down on the beach which has the most incredible views out across the Helford and out to sea.”
