Palmetto Islands County Park
This is one of my favorite places to get lost in Charleston. There’s a beautiful trail that runs past the marsh and dock.
Looking to enjoy some of this top-notch Lowcountry weather with your guests on a bike, paddle boat, fishing and/or a waterpark? This is your one-stop-shop for all of those activities PLUS some!
Excellent views of the Marsh Lands. Trails that are very well kept. Water Park. Paddle boat rentals, kayak rentals. BBQ facilities. Open areas for sports.
Nice walking/ biking trails near the marsh. Playground for little and bigger kids.
Best park around. Walk along the boardwalk and view crabs, herons, and maybe catch a gator sighting!
“Off of 526, no drive-thru but is on the way to Mt. Pleasant if you are taking 526”
“Incredibly delicious! One of my favorites in the whole Charleston area. My favorite is their porkchop with collard greens!!!”
“A hidden gem in the Old Village of Mount Pleasant, this shack of a building serves fresh local seafood & is a top choice for business lunches as well as families. Local seafood literally fresh off the boat. ”
“Facilities and quaint town to dine. Live music Sunday eves at Coconut Joe's. Beware of park closing if you drive and choose to dine after park hours! Traffic is heavy by 10am, opens up after 3pm. When leaving, leave before 3 or after 5.”
