Bite Café offers seasonal, creative interpretations of traditional comfort food. Bright colored chairs and exposed brick walls create a rustic, cozy feel at the BYOB spot. Bite Café is vegetarian and vegan friendly.
This BYOB serves comfort food with a twist, such as grilled cheese with tomato-fennel soup.
Excellent contemporary American cuisine. Right next to the Empty Bottle.
A local BYOB favorite eclectic spot with a bit of a hipster scene. Make sure to order from the blackboard for a more diverse experience.
Doesn't look like much, but one of my favorite breakfast or lunch spots in the area. Lots of vegetarian/vegan options and BYOB
“Well-known Chicago dive bar/live music venue primarily for indie bands. Cash only.”
“They make their own house amaro! If you love cocktails, or cheap beer, this is your joint.”
“Prison-themed bar & grill offering a wide range of beers & burgers, plus a BBQ joint next door.”
“The Dark Matter Coffee company, a tried-and-true Chicago brand, has shops across the city, including a location in Ukrainian Village called Star Lounge Coffee Bar. Local art is hung on burnt-orange walls and there’s a long bar that you can belly-up to and order a Unicorn Blood blended roast. In the warmer months the patio is open, and you can bring your four-legged friend to join you in the sun. This is a great place to go to meet friends or to sit for a spell with a good book. And, if you get hungry, there are little nibbles and noshes to satiate you.”
