Tai Hang is another peaceful pocket of paradise in an otherwise hectic area. Neat little coffee shop and an amazing local bakery doing superb Hong Kong Egg Tarts! Take a stroll.
A developing local scene with new eateries created monthly. Great place for food and drinks in a trendy residential village.
Also a nice area with an eclectic mix of cafes, bars, delis, restaurants and local vendors.
Small neighbourhood with low rise buildings. The new hype area with many different asian and western restaurants.
“Small community with friendly villagers, population of 5,000. No car access to most houses and everyone get around by bike. Nice rural feel but the main town still has a handful of good restaurants and bars. Easily adventure into the wildlife, plenty of hikes, mountain bike trails and sights to see!”
“A very nice garden with a vegetarian restaurant inside. If you cross the bridge you get to a peacefull monastery.”
“The best jazz bar in town is modelled after an old saloon and celebrates the infamous Australian bandit Ned Kelly. A terrific mid-size band plays numerous sets every night. Try their famous shot, the North Sea Oil, just to say you did. (Be careful!)”
