This is a gorgeous waterfall. I would access it from the top. Follow signs to North Lake/South Lake
Coming in at 260 feet, Kaaterskill is the tallest two-stage waterfall in New York, and the steep ascent to get there is made of 620 stone stairs that will challenge even the experienced hiker. Be careful when climbing this trail as the rocky steps are very slippery when wet.
If you’re interested in going a little further and incorporation a hike I Highly Recommend Kaaterskill Falls. (One of the highest waterfalls in NY)
Impressive Waterfall! Can take your pick of the easy way or the hard way for seeing the falls from the top and/or bottom.
This is one of the most popular hiking spots in the Catskill mountain region. It's about a 45 minute drive from the tiny house. You can hike the trails or just observe from different look-out spots along the road.
