This hidden gem in San Francisco is right in the heart of the Fisherman's Wharf district. It's a privately owned museum with coin-operated machines and games. It includes everything from hand-cranked games to Ms. Pacman. It's free to enter, but you must pay to play. You will find it on Pier 45 in…

So, locals usually avoid Fisherman's Wharf, but this is actually a great reason to go. Musée Mécanique is an awesome old school arcade with antique games and fun for everyone. My kids are always excited to visit! (Afterward, walk across the way to Boudin!)

Any trip to the tourist-center Fisherman's Wharf should include a visit to the free-entry arcade museum where you can play arcade games dating back over 100 years.

“Go to Sutro Baths first and then just take the path to the right into the trees and that will take you to Land’s End. I suggest this first because it is just such a beautiful way to take in the west coast of San Francisco. Standing above Sutro Baths, ruins of ancient baths, to the left is the expanse of Ocean Beach and to the right is a grove of trees that hide a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge. To walk all the way to the stone labyrinth, I think it’s something like 1.5ish miles round trip and it’s also a great path for jogging.”
