The best fresh seafood place this side of the city! Get there early, come hungry, write your name on the whiteboard outside and wait for your name to be called once seating becomes available. Best for parties of 1-4 people.
Small neighborhood restaurant offering wonderful seafood. Go early to avoid waiting. But if you have to, there are plenty of boutiques nearby to check out!
My favorite seafood in SF. But they don't take reservations and often have an hour+ wait, so go put your name on the chalkboard and then grab a drink in the Castro while you wait.
A great choice for seafood. Waits can be long, but definitely worth it.
“Solid neighborhood dim sum spot without having to go downtown or to the Richmond. If you absolutely love dim sum and consider yourself a dim sum ordering expert though, the trip outside of the Castro is worth it. ”
“Grand 1920s movie palace! This is the place to catch vintage films, sing-a-longs (super popular!), film festivals, and the occasional live show/speaker.”
“Alle Reveille locations are good, and this one is walking distance. Their toasts and their coffee comes highly recommended”
“Great food - on a rare occasion they will have fried Rabbit and its amazing - call in advance to check, if they have it make a reservation for dinner... and the rabbit! ”
