Throwback bakery offering traditional French breads, plus sandwiches & tea, in a sleek space.
A bit farther, but if you're on your way to the Mile End, Guillaume won't disappoint. The only problem is choosing what to eat. Lots of creative takes on classics. The breads and things with cheese are my weakness! ~25-30 min walk
Best bakerie around!! They make awesome baguettes and croissant for breakfast!
Best Bread in Montreal. Champignons au chocolat blanc are to dye for! A must.
my favorite bakery! guidebook is showing wrong address though, it is at 5132 blvd. St Laurent (10 minute walk)
Leurs pains et viennoiseries sont délicieux. Essayez leur "pain fesses"!, leurs mini chocolatines.
“This is my favourite coffee shop. The staff is nice and has a great social atmosphere. During the summers people tend to pour out of the coffee shop on to the sidewalks and into their terrasse just enjoying their coffees. ”
“People come from far for it. tip: If you get a pot you don't have to wait in line”
“Creative, thoughtful and honest cooking alongside a properly curated beer and wine list, in an elegant but informal setting. They also are the owners of the Larrys’ a scaled-down casual café/bistro just beside at 9 Fairmont street.”
“Best place for the avid beer-lover! If you like experimenting, this historical local brewery is the place to try!”
