Depending on your interests of course. But it is a nice trip across the water with the ferry. You can enjoy a nice cup of coffee and enjoy Amsterdam from across the water.

Great spot on the north side of Amsterdam. You go with a sweet small boat to the over side and its a great place for coffee with a great view and great architecture.
