Worth the ride/drive to Southside (former US Naval Station) at the eastern end of the Island. Quieter and more secluded than the adjacent but equally beautiful Clearwater beach and requires a few minutes walk as it is within a nature reserve. Take a picnic and a bottle of something special!

It’s a nature reserve with plenty of coastal views and great beaches. There are also trails to explore and get ‘lost’.

This is a gorgeous and quieter area than the south shore beaches....it is about an 8 minute drive from cottage...stunning views, beaches and Clear water beach and bar is next to the park!

Coopers Island has a Nature Reserve and five pristine beaches. Walk the trails, geocache, swim, snorkel or just relax and work on that tan.
