Behind the station you can park your car for only €2,30 / day and take the intercity (30 minutes) to Amsterdam. Bus 11 goes from station Hoorn to 'the opgang' every half hour.

Go and see the Steam train museum at the back side of Hoorn CS. Also the place to rent a bike or take a daytrip by train of bus to Amsterdam, Edam or Volendam.
