“Look for the gorilla in front of the cafe, and the moose in the dining area. You can get a nice lunch or dinner at the Cafe as well as a selection of chocolates, truffles, fudges, creams, gourmets and roasted nuts that are manufactured in the company's 38,000 sq. ft. facility.”
“Fiddler's is an Irish Public House located in downtown South Bend. The have a lot of live music (almost exclusively Celtic), authentic Irish food and a massive selection of Irish beers and Scotch. It's very cozy and they do a great job of making you feel like you're in an actual Celtic Public House. They also manage to do that while making it family friendly. Not sure you want to keep the kids their until bar closing on a weekend, but they do provide board games, cards and puzzles for fun. ”
“Their tagline is "HISTORIC, LOCALLY OWNED AND SOPHISTICATED AS HELL". Pretty much sums it up. On the pricey side for South Bend, but they deliver, so you definitely get what you pay for! The food is creative and outstanding quality. The staff is very well trained and friendly. The bar is classy with a great wine, spirits and craft brew selection. If you like upscale, they won't disappoint. ”
“The Studebaker National Museum is a state-of-the-art, 55,000-square-foot facility that opened in October 2005. The building has three levels and features fully climate-controlled galleries and storage facilities to ensure the best possible care for the Collection. The Studebaker National Museum was designed by South Bend’s own James Childs Architects and features several design elements from Studebaker’s factory buildings.”
