This is truly a day trip. Everything about the desert and desert animals is here. The drive over to Tucson Mountain’s is quite spectacular as you descend into the valley floor. This is well worth your time to visit

Not your regular zoo! Animals are in their natural habitat & generally have quite a bit of space. I've also heard the stingray petting pool is pretty great. Beautiful drive and place to spend a day - especially in the more temperate months. Definitely bring sunscreen.
