Very hard to get into, first come first serve til it runs out but a local icon
Honestly the best BBQ and worth the wait. Get in line early and pack beverages while you wait. Serving starts at 11:00 (lunch only) but the line forms early 7:00 am (walk to). Closed on Mondays.
Be prepared to wait. You’re allowed to bring beer and wine to drink in line, id also bring some light folding chairs. It’s like tailgating but for BBQ. Absolutely world famous. Last 3 presidents all ate here (no line for them though). People have been known to wait for 3-4 hours.
This place is amazing! One of the most popular Barbecue spots in Austin. Just remember to wake up early and plan to stay in line for hours. Don't worry, it's worth it!
Best in the country visited by the likes of Anthony Bourdain and President Obama
“A delightful, beautiful restaurant. Very European (in all the nest ays: small, dense seating, relaxed but bustling, simple). The food choices are elegant and reasonably priced. A great outdoor seating area. ”
“Nice little cafe within walking distance. From espresso drinks to happy hour on the patio. GF bread.”
“Live country music is served up in this hip, upbeat, sprawling honky-tonk with a taco truck outside.”
“4.5 miles. Gluten Free Options, Super Creative sauces. These Pies are worth it! ”
