You can just drive into Crewe Hall (20 mins) and have a lovely afternoon tea / drinks / dinner. It also has a swimming pool that you can pay when you go and not very expensive. Set on 8 acres of parkland in a 400-year-old Jacobean mansion

This stunning hotel is superb for afternoon tea (in the grand hall) and is worth a walk around. It also has a modern bistro called Pi R Squared offering lovely meals at reasonable prices. The hotel is a 24 minutes drive (12.4 miles away) from your accommodation.
