World famous beach! On a windy day in Cape Town go to Clifton Beach it is almost always windfree. We love 3rd Beach and its always less crowded than 4th. Many steps to climb down but it is so worth the effort.
“This supurb small art gallery can also be visited at night during First Thursdays: First Thursdays Cape Town is a free cultural experience where art galleries and other cultural attractions in the central and East city districts stay open late on the first Thursday of every month. The night is as much about experiencing art and culture as it is about exploring the city on foot. We suggest browsing the highlights right here and choosing a few exhibitions and attractions that you'd like to see, but be open to letting the night take its own course. Print maps are available at most listed venues.”
“This semi-secret little beach has a beautiful little rock pool to cool yourself down in...and cool yourself you will, the water in Cape Town ain't warm...”
“Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner - if you find yourself at the waterfront, this upscale Braserie has great views , exceptional service and amazing grub.”
“On its day a sublime wave for surfing - and you can walk for miles and hardly see anyone, just long flat stretches of beach and a pounding sea.”
