It’s a small bakery, with not very much seating at all. They have a big counter, and they're always kind of filling it up with fresh goodies of all kinds—and their breakfast sandwiches are pretty well known as the best post-surf meal in the neighborhood. Get there early, it’s not uncommon to see an hour-long wait for a breakfast sandwich. The line is horrendous by 10:00am.
Get there early to avoid long lines. Try the breakfast sandwich and beignets.
Try the best breakfast muffins in SF, and take a walk on Ocean Beach under Carl the Fog’s blanket. Wander into the many quaint little shops in the near vicinity. There’s Mollusk surf shop, Trouble Coffee Co.,The General Store..... and Outerlands restaurant... and the Cliff House just a hop, skip,…

“Tired after a long day of sightseeing? Grab a slice or a whole pizza in this neighborhood favorite. Very local vibe and good beers on tap.”
“Classic California cuisine and fresh-baked bread on the weekends. Next door are a cute boutique and coffee shop if you find yourself on the waitlist. ”
“Casual, one block from the beach. Easygoing crowd and BINGO on Saturdays at 6.”
“Opens past midnight! Good Korean food, love their Kimchi-fried rice. A great place to chill when you are hungry at midnight and can't sleep. What's special about this place is that it operates inside a converted garage! Great place to bring some friends for some soju and food!”
“Once featured on the This American Life podcast, this coffee shop is known for its grungy vibe. They sell only coffee, coconuts, and toast. They're not particularly known for customer service, but it's worth experiencing!”
