The B.O.B. (an acronym for Big Old Building) is located in downtown Grand Rapids. The 70,000-square-foot, four- story, red brick building was constructed in 1903. Its casual appeal, large size and historic charm have given The B.O.B. landmark / destination status in downtown Grand Rapids.
The BOB is a local favorite. It has many levels, a Comedy Club, several restaurants, an outdoor patio, Brewery, and lots of music. We love it!
The B.O.B. opens till 2 am on Saturday and has simple casual but inviting atmosphere.

“The Grand Rapids Public Museum rises three stories above the downtown riverfront. Inside, a fascinating panorama of permanent collections and temporary exhibits preserve the treasures of the past and the present. Great spot for kids but interesting enough for adults too.”
“HopCat is great for lunch, dinner or a night on the town. It is located right in the heart of downtown and is walking distance to several other bars and restaurants. We've brought our kids as well so during the day it is very family friendly! ”
“Home of the Grand Rapids Griffins, the Van Andel Arena is the biggest venue in the city. Check out their website for upcoming events prior to your visit. The arena is a convenient 10 minute walk from the building or short uber ride. You can also use the heated skywalk from Devos Place all way to the arena.”
