For everyone not caught up on Spanish-language literature, Elena Garro was a fascinating writer, a cultural icon, and wife of Octavio Paz. The cultural center is architecturally notable and sits in a beautifully refurbished mansion that meshes old with new. It includes a cafe, bookstore, small movie theater, and various other multi-use spaces. The service is excellent if you're looking for a specific book, by the way.
