South Slope, just below downtown, is the heart and soul of Asheville's Beer City USA designation. You can't turn a corner in this part of the town without hitting a local brewery. We recommend Bhramari, Burial, and Hi-Wire.

“The Appalachian Trail goes around Dancing Sun Cabins up on the ridge. You can access the Appalachian Trail by walking about 1.2 miles from your cabin door. You can also access it by driving to Max Patch. Lemon Gap, Gorenflo Gap or downtown Hot Springs.”
