Beautiful to walk around, lots of paid and free events, entrance to the garden is free, parking is paid, but can park for free around the area and walk to the garden. Check their website for events.

Botanic Garden is well maintained and beautiful at all times of the year. I have a pass for parking if you are driving, as the parking is expensive. Worth the trip.
Absolutely beautiful with plenty of things to see and do. The Japanese Garden area is a favorite. Admission is free (unless you're seeing an exhibit), but parking is $20 for non-members.
