San Francisco Designated Landmark #219
Wooded park at the city's highest peak offering a few walking trails & sweeping urban vistas.
If you're up for an ambitious run, head up to the cross at the top of Mount Davidson Park. Also the scene in one of Clint Eastwood's films (he doesn't talk to a chair ... get it?)
Pretty much the same view as Twin peaks but without any other tourists. Nice little hike too!
If you like hiking, there is an amazing view from the top of Mount Davidson. Within walking distance, it takes about 30 minutes to get to the top.
“Pizza and Brazilian restaurant in West Portal. I usually have the Brazilian and it's delicious. Good, friendly service. ”
“Great food, attentive service. Our favorite! Please note, they don't take reservations. ”
“360 degree views of the Sunset District, the ocean beyond and the West San Francisco. Not too rigorous a walk to get to the top. ”
“A lovely neighborhood with beautiful homes and gorgeous gardens. We walk here often for exercise and home & garden ideas. Take a stroll through SFW on your way to West Portal or just because.”
