Just southeast of downtown, our funky Indianapolis neighborhood has a world of independent restaurants, live music and performance, working artists with a vibrant arts scene, and one-of-a-kind stores that sell food, fashion, comics, musical instruments, fresh flowers, and so much more.
Hip Neighborhood! First Friday art walk at Murphy building, Battle of the Bands at the Hifi, Swing dancing at the FS theatre, Duck Pin Bowling, hidden tikki bar at the back of La Revolution, amazing drinks at the inferno room, 24/7 eats at Peppy's grill, live music at the Square Cat, and Burlesque…
We have discovered a few new restaurants and bars that we enjoy. In the spring summer months, there is a "roof top" bar we enjoy that has a nice view of the city. Also, a brand new coffee shop within walking distance just opened up which is a nice addition to Fountain Square.
Fun, Eclectic neighborhood right outside the heart of downtown Indy. About a 25 minute drive. Fun shops and food scene.
Several Bars and Restaurants. Try Revolucion (tacos & margaritas), Kuma's Corner (burgers), Thunderbird (cocktails) or Red Lion Grog House just to name a few.
“Broad Ripple is a restaurant/bar/shopping district, sort of a college-y vibe. There are a number of great restaurants, a canal to walk along (stop in at The Good Earth Grocery to buy corn to feed the ducks), some nice boutique clothing stores, etc. You can also grab the Red Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) to go downtown. ”
“Super cool place to visit! Try to get a view of the city on top of the tower!”
“Amazing place to visit. Sobering history of the native peoples of in the Americas.”
