The Lake that supplies the water to Las Vegas and other states. The water runs down from Colorado river to here. Make sure to get your fishing license or visit the harbor for some fish feeding.

Lake Mead is located roughly 45 minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip and is home to many water sports, boat rentals, and beaches. If you are traveling to Las Vegas with a larger group, it’s such a fun and unique idea to rent a double-decker pontoon boat. This one has a slide, tanning deck and full bar area for you to bring alcohol and coolers.

There is also a small fee per car to get in. Once in, you there will be places available for swimming, hiking, sightseeing, etc.

Lake Mead National Recreation Area is a half an hour away, you can rent a boat, take a tour on Lake Mead Cruises, rent a wave runner, hang out at the beach, visit the Marina for lunch and drinks. A beautiful place to visit.
