A huge, sprawling park, packed with interesting areas - rose garden, sculptures, cafes, a lake and more. Definitely worth exploring on a sunny day. Hop on a city bike to take it all in, or just head straight to the Serpentine (river - but looks more like a lake) to get to the heart of the action. …

Science Museum
“One of the most extraordinary buildings in the country. Even if you have no interest in animals or natural history, it is worth coming here - it's free! - to look inside at the architecture. It was built as a 'cathedral to nature', and it's a delight.”

“The Victoria and Albert Museum is the world's leading museum of art, design, and performance. Their immense exhibition programme has seen them bring exhibitions such as: David Bowie, Frida Kahlo, Alexander McQueen, Dior… Either a 50 min walk, for those who love to stretch their legs, or a 25 min tube ride on the District Line from Hammersmith tube station to South Kensington.”

Science Museum
“All science, all the time. You'll find space ships, engine parts, interactive areas and more. Free (except for the special exhibitions) and worth popping into, but of the three South Kensington Museums, this is my least fave, but it's still good. If you have kids, though, it's a must! 10-12 minutes' walk from the flat.”
