Pancho Villa Farmer's Market
Fresh tortillas, homemade every day and piping hot. All kinds of produce and Mexican groceries.
About a half mile away, but feels like you are in Mexico. Large produce selection of some stuff you may not have seen before. You can watch them make your flour tortillas. The corn tortillas are also sold warm (usually). Worth a visit if you are not planning on a trip to Tijuana.
Great place to try Mexican food already prepared. You have to try the flower tortillas, wait in line and get them hot. You have to eat them when hot!! Just get some queso fresco (fresh cheese) and salsa.
Great prices & where I buy groceries! Pancho Villa Farmer’s Market‘s founder, Stephen W. Boney, began with Boney’s Market Place which specialized in health foods, produce, and vitamins. Only 5 minutes walk away, and is mostly catered to the Mexican community, but it is still excellent and worth checking out!
Big Mexican grocery store with a huge produce section and a large meat department. The best place to buy fresh, hot tortillas.
“Landmark pizzeria firing pies as well as a selection of homemade pastas, sandwiches & salads. ”
“Late night Mexican food, open 24 hours. The tacos and rolled tacos are our favorites, and both really hit the spot when you want that late night snack.”
“Great park for walks in late afternoon sun and summer concerts. Nice playground there.”
