Best margaritas in town! The food is amazing! They don't take reservations though. We usually put our name on the list and go to the bar at Parallel 38 next door for a drink while we wait.
Small place and hard to get into if you don't get there early, but it's a Cville staple and a must if you're a margarita lover!
My personal favorite restaurant in Charlottesville, this hidden gem is so cool, it doesn’t have a sign! Small, loud, and always crowded, think Mexican food with a twist. Look for the neon sign that says "Get in here" and then get in there! Incredible southwestern grub and our favorite place to grab dinner in town.
The motto is "too small, too crowded and too noisy" but the food is plentiful, delicious, affordable and fun. The red hot blue nachos are unique and feel less decadent than the regular nachos-which are my favorite. Not having a sign is part of their charm... Next door to Parallel 38 look for a neon…
“South African inspired Pub & Braai (restaurant). Another local favorite, with unique menu selections, and a comfortable dining atmosphere. ”
“Champion has been serving up local beer in Cville since 2012. There are many other breweries in the area too, but this is one of our favorites!”
“ C-ville "Best-Of" since 1996! "Hall Of Fame 2018" Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner you can't go wrong!! Charlottesville is well known for the home of the Best Bagel Ever!! If you are not in the mood for a bagel then try their salad and/or soups. Do not be intimidated by the lines as they move very quickly. A sure palate pleaser and the price is right!!! ”
“Live music venue on the Downtown Mall. Lots of restaurants/bars surrounding the venue on the pedestrian mall. Worth exploring during the day or in the evening.”
