The Ecology Pavilion Mile End Park
Set in Mile End Park, the ecology pavilion is surrounded by little marshes, trees and wildflowers. Mile End Park itself is a gorgeous park to walk through, with varied areas including wooded walks and open playing fields.
Accessed from the end of our road, lots of ponds with a lot of biodiversity. Links directly to Victoria Park
Located in the heart of the long strip of greenery that stretches from just opposite the flat to Mile End park, this whole area (which host the Ecology and Art Pavilions) is a great spot for a stroll, a run or to take a bottle of wine and sit and watch life on the canal.
“This is the first school built for poor children in East London in Victorian times. The visit will give you the feeling of what it was like going to school in that period.”
“Charity shop for the London Buddhist Centre, selling second-hand clothes and bric-a-brac.”
“Classic East London Bar. Take cash - no fancy tills here - and enjoy a cheap knees up in a very old fashioned bar. There is live music most nights & it's a great place for celebrations with locals and friends! ”
