Windermere Lake Cruises hire out self-drive electric boats and rowing boats in addition to the cruises that they offer. They operate from Bowness pier; about a 20 minute walk / 5 minute drive from Westwood.

A trip to the Lake is a must. You can hire rowing boats or go on large cruise ships across the Lakes. Stopping off at Ambleside is great and makes a good day of it.
