Camden has sadly lost its cool in recent years, but one place that stands out is the Jazz Cafe. It’s had a chequered past since its heyday when artists like D’Angelo played there, but under new ownership it’s experiencing a revival. Programming includes Ruby Rushton, who fuses hip-hop/electronic music with jazz, and our own jazz band, Kansas Smitty’s House Band! You can sit down in the balcony restaurant and eat while watching the show, but it’s also a great space for dancing, so eat fast.
London’s premiere live music venue is back, showcasing the best music from across the world seven nights a week. Since opening in 1990 the Jazz Café has welcomed some of the most respected artists through its doors, including Amy Winehouse, D’Angelo, Roy Ayers, Bobby Womack and many more.
Various live events happen every week, ranging from Jazz, Rnb, Blues and other genres.
“Historic music venue where everyone from The Doors to Pattie Smith played. They always have a great program so make sure to check its out.”
“Famous restaurant of Gordon Ramsey. If you just fancy a drink, they have a very good selection of wine.”
