Catalan-born chef Daniel Olivella has created a unique menu that features a variety of tapas, including latas (classic Spanish appetizers served in small tin cans), as well as larger plates and an impressive array of paella. Each item is a subtle elaboration on a traditional dish. It is European-style simplicity, rustic and refined, in an atmosphere where leisurely meals are encouraged.
If you like tapas, Spanish food and wine this is the place to go. Happy hour all day on Mondays and from Tuesday to Thursday from 5-7.
Quaint, sophisticated with the feel of a European sidewalk cafe. Great quiet spot at night. Can't recommend it enough. Pricy.
“The brick and mortar reincarnation of the famed trailer that brought chef Bryce Gilmore to the forefront, featuring intensely local, seasonal fare.”
“Awesome ice cream if you’re looking for eclectic, funky, different flavors… All from grass fed cows! Delicious and vegan flavors too.”
“If they are starting back up with trivia post pandemic go. It’s really fun! ”
“Black Sheep is our go to place for a burger, Bloody Mary and the best sports game on that day (especially soccer). Classic sports pub with seating inside and out. ”
“Sure, it's not BBQ or queso, but ESK is an Austin classic foodtruck-turned-restaurant. The menu is primarily Japan influenced (think bento boxes, seaweed salt, small bites) but the flavor combinations span the globe with Filipino, Mexican, Chinese, and broad Americana touches in just about ever dish and sandwich. Check out the back patio area if the weather permits, and speaking of permits, be sure to park in the lot on the far left of the complex (near the tattoo parlor, of course) to avoid getting towed. ”
