There are many good clothing offerings in the Britomart Precinct if you are seeking out New Zealand labels. World, Kate Silverster, Zambesi and Deadly Ponies are all there.

The most recent of the Auckland developments, this is a nice area of bars, cafes, restaurants and upmarket shops, with a kids play area (with fountains) and beanbags in the middle. Very central, and right by the main train station. 30 minutes drive.

Britomart has recently been done up and is a trendy fun area to check out, as well as being the main train and bus central city hub
