One of the most popular beer brewers of Amsterdam. Nice to have a beer on their terras under the windmill..
If you wanna drink a real LOCAL BEER INSIDE AN ORIGINAL DUTCH WINDMILL this is the nicest place to have a unique experience!
Local brewery in a beautiful authentic old windmill that is one of the last ones in Amsterdam.

“Open 6 days a week, this market has a great variety of clothing, produce and food. Try kibbeling, poffertjes, loempias, fresh fries, cheese, and more!”
“There is a lot to see and do in Amsterdam, all depending on your taste. If we were in the neighborhood, you could run into us and other locals at Roest. If the weather is nice, nothing beats Amsterdam Roest (5-10 min walk) at Jacob Bontiusplaats. At an old factory location, Roest has a pseudo beach area, a rough edged arty atmosphere and plenty of cold drinks.”
“The central park of Amsterdam east. Amsterdammers come here to picnic, relax or workout. Two other parks in the area that are certainly worth a visit: the Flevopark (check also our tip Distilleerderij ’t Nieuwe Diep) and the somewhat smaller, quieter Frankendael park. ”
“Popular beer cafe, huge selection of tap and bottled beers, great burgers and most famous roasted chicken in town.”
“It’s my favourite spot to catch the sun and have a coffee with apple pie. But they also have great food and you can watch a movie. The funny side of this place, all workers earn the same from managers to waiters. For me it’s heaven to grab a coffee in the morning sun and watch people and daily life.”
