"A magnificent historic site that showcases an elegant, Victorian mansion, a charming cottage, a gallery that chronicles local history, a gallery of Notre Dame history, a children's museum, and more"
“In the 'Century Center' in Downtown South Bend this art museum features works by local artists, national recognized artists and rotating exhibits. Nice gift shop too! Great views out to the river as well.”
“Former Studebaker mansion, now a wonderful restaurant. You can even tour the mansion. Delicious and expansive Sunday brunch. ”
“Great indoor museum to let off steam and learn lots of things abut your body and how it functions (From the inside). ”
“Hey, South Bend has a Zoo. Go figure! It's pretty nice too. They also host events that are a blast (and usually sell out almost immediately). Our favorite is Zoo Brew. They fill the zoo with micro brewers and you walk around sampling craft beer all night. Another favorite is Zoo Boo at Halloween. Parents bring their kids in costumes and trick or treat in the zoo. ”
