Talay Thai Kitchen
Great spot. We recommend walking in, reserving a table and grabbing a drink at the Balcony whilst you wait!
Always good, you have to just rock up, they don't take bookings and it does get busy as its so good, but definitely worth visiting. Again overlooking the harbour.
A great new restaurant on the harbour front that's perfect for fresh and laid back Thai food with a view.
Thai street food and sharing menu with a great view of the harbour. You can't book a table so turn up early to make sure you secure your spot.
“The guys here have the best fresh fish, cook it beautifully and whether you eat in or take away the quality is always great. Just be careful of the seagulls if you take away!”
“A must visit when you are in St Ives. Inventive tapas style dishes and also breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sits right on Porthmeor Beach so you can watch the surfers hit the waves while you sip a cocktail. Reservations are very hard to get in the summer, but they do keep back a section for walk ins. ”
“A real must for ceramic lovers and artists, fantastic collection of original Leach pottery, a feel for how the studio used to work and a wonderful shop for gifts that are made at The Leach by current potters. Amazing 50% sales during some bank holidays. Clay days for kids during school holidays and courses that are a delight for adults at any stage of learning. ”
“Great for surfing and with good cafes, Porthmeor is a great beach for older kids and adults, on days with big waves it can be too big for small children though. The best place to watch the sunset on a nice evening too”
