For a true genuine food experience touching the signature dish of Gotheburg and Majorna, head to Strömmingsluckan. They provide fried herring with homemade potato mash. It doesn't get better than this. Lunch is usually around €9.

A budget and very delicious traditional Swedish meal: Fried herring with mashed potatoes and lingon berry jam! Served out of a cute food truck.

My favourite food truck that serves classic Swedish lunch: mashed potatoes, fish and lingonberries! You need to try this if you want the real Swedish experience :)
