Amazing Jamaican restaurant and rum bar. If you feel like treating yourself stop by for a great meal. Only a couple stops on the light rail.
Jamaican place. Not too traditional, but good food. Most come for the drinks, cocktails and ambiance.
My absolute favorite cocktail bar in Phoenix. Take an Uber so you can indulge in their unbelievable delicious and unique cocktails. There is also a restaurant attached with delicious Jamaican food.
“FUNKY ARTWORK AND WELL-STOCKED BAR, ECLECTIC SANDWICHES AND CLASSIC SOUPS, CARLY’S BISTRO PROUDLY SERVES PHOENIX GREAT EATS AND CULTURE. Located in downtown Phoenix, AZ’s Roosevelt Row, Carly’s has been an established neighborhood favorite for over a decade.”
“For a true taste of Arizona stop by Songbird Coffee & Tea House — they keep things close to home. Case in point: their coffee beans and tea are all sourced locally and even their vegan pastries are delivered from the ladies at Treehouse Bakery right down the road. Try some local favorites (like the nitro cold brew or the espresso spritzer with agave and sparkling water) and enjoy the views of the historic neighborhood in Downtown Phoenix. Or, just kick back with friends and listen to live music. That works, too.”
“Very good inexpensive sushi at happy hour. Outdoor patio. Local favorite. Try their fresh wasabi. ”
“Set in a restored 1913 bungalow, Cibo (pronounced "CHEE-boh") has hardwood floors, exposed brick, a stained-glass panel and a fireplace to set the mood while revitalizing the downtown Phoenix area with beautiful salads, antipasto, artisanal pizzas and housemade fresh pasta”
“Awesome health-conscious food (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Many of their ingredients come from the adjacent open air farmers market, which you should definitely check out on Saturdays between 8 AM and 1 PM. ”
