Battle Point Park
I love this park... it's like Bainbridge's Central Park. It's a two mile long rectangular plot of land with a trail that's great for running and walking. There's an amazing playground, ball fields, a beautiful pond and even an observatory. Recently, they added Frisbee baseball nets if you play that…
This park has a bit of everything: Playground, Off-leash Dog Park, Soccer Fields, Covered Picnic Area, Velodrome, Walking Trail, Ponds, Fields, and Forest Groves.
Fun walk around for a couple of miles. You can watch the ducks while having a picnic by the pond.
If you have kids or just enjoy a fantastic park, this is the place to go on Bainbridge. The park totals 90 acres, is a former naval radio station, and is largely open space with two ponds, jogging trail, two soccer fields, three softball fields, horse area, a picnic shelter, two tennis courts, play…
“Close to Rolling Bay Cabin. Beautiful beach, views of city, playground for kids.”
