Battle Point Park
Huge park with bike/walking trails, ponds, playground, bouldering wall, athletic fields. Great place to explore on a sunny day.
Battle Point park has a 10 hole disc golf course, a 1.5 mile loop paved path around the park, soccer and baseball fields, hockey court, basketball court, pickleball and tennis courts, picnic shelters, a pond, and an observatory. It's literally our "central park" where the island goes to recreate. …
Kids? No kids? Worth the visit. A huge park with a nice paved walking/biking trail around the perimeter, play structure, swings, pond, blackberries (late summer), observatory...beautiful and spacious.
Great end point if you start in the Grand Forest. Nice kids play area, frisbee golf and walking areas.
“Fay Bainbridge Park is a short walk down the spit. It has a playground, volleyball courts, and beach forts. It also has a killer view of Mount Rainier.”

“A great spot for pizza, sandwiches and beer or wine. They occasionally have live music. Not open for breakfast.”
