One group drives up Hurricane Ridge, other here, switch car keys in the middle- nice ridge top hike for a few hours. Views spectacular. Camping free.

Mountain top 360 degree views with drive in access when the seasonal road is open. Tight narrow winding road to the top. Short steep walking path to the peak from the parking areas.

Deer Park is the closest entrance to Olympic National Park from Cline Cabin. Head towards the Olympics on O'Brien road, take right on Township Line road, then a left on Deer Park Road. The last 8 miles to the top are gravel, steep and very curvy. There's a campground at the top, plus stunning views of the Straits of Juan De Fuca and the Olympic Mountains. A short scenic hike is Ran Shadow Loop, a half mile that encircles Blue Mountain. This road is usually closed by Olympic National Park in the winter, so check before you head up.
