Nice walk this island. Less tourists here than close to Notre-Dame. Very calm, some shops, and one on the best ice cream in Paris at Berthillon.
this small island is very close to le Marais, you can walk to go there and is very cute, with many crepes and ice cream places. It's just a nice walk into the heart of Paris.
Beautiful place, and « island » in the center of paris... just after Notre Dame.Very parisian, little old streets, cafés, brasseries, shops...and just to take time walking near la seine...
It's very pleasant to have a walk around. A beautiful small island with typical parisian streets.
“Take your picnic to this beautiful park, hang out in the grass or on benches, and visit the home of Victor Hugo afterwards!”
“I am always impressed by this beautiful cathedral...I never get tired of looking at it. A must-see and only 2 stops away !”
“Majestic park overlooking the Luxembourg Palace. A visit here is most enjoyable at any time of the year. So much to see: the ducks swimming in front of the enormous Medici Fountain, children sending an armada of small boats across the pond, the parade of sculptures of the queens of France, the manicured Palace gardens. Take a seat and enjoy the people-watching! You can also just relax, enjoy a sandwich or read a book (plenty of chairs and benches). To do some jogging this is also a great place! Free entrance.”
“The Louvre is an authentic & historical museum of Paris. You could book it advance to be sure to avoid wasting too much waiting to visit it. It's more archeological one, and also you can see the famous Mona Lisa there. ”
“Is a medieval Catholic cathedral on the Île de la Cité in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. The cathedral is consecrated to the Virgin Mary and considered to be one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture.”
